sealmaster bearings
Emerson Power Transmission (EPT; a division of Emerson Industrial Automation) is home to three industrial bearing manufacturers namely: Rollway, McGill, and Sealmaster Bearings. Emerson Power Transmission established Sealmaster in 1938 as a division of Stephens-Adamson Co., then a leading manufacturer of light duty, plain bearing conveyor and power transmission equipment.
Sealmaster Bearings Emerson Power Transmission, at that time, produced their finished products from McGill Bearing for a while, but as the company gradually grew, they developed its own bearing manufacturing resources in Aurora. Sealmaster Bearings then became a major bearing manufacturer on its own, at one time employing nearly 1,000 workers.
Now, SealMaster is considered to be an industry leader in providing high quality products at a reasonable price. Because of its popularity, Sealmaster bearings are used in a number of different industrial and commercial applications where bearings are required. Having to cater to different industries, they have to produce a wide variety of products such as: Sealmaster ball bearings, Sealmaster roller bearings, Sealmaster rod ends and spherical bearings which are made for a number of different industrial uses. You can’t find other bearings in the market that has the same quality and engineered features as made by Sealmaster. But most of all, the reason why consumers go for Sealmaster bearings is that they perform with fewer failures, leading to increased productivity and longer life.
The Sealmaster Bearing Emerson Power Trans manufacturing facility is now located at Bilter Road, Aurora, Illinois.
